Roofing and siding

The building envelope — the part of the house whose job is to keep water out of everything else.

Roofing and siding are worth treating as one system, because water that gets past one usually shows up as damage caused by the other. A roof replaced without correcting the flashing at a wall junction will leak again in the same place.

We look at the whole envelope when we quote either.

Common questions

Do you repair roofs, or only replace them?

Both. Plenty of roofs need a repair rather than a replacement, and the detailing around flashing, valleys, and roof-to-wall junctions is where most of them are actually leaking.

Do you handle gutters, fascia, and soffit as well?

Yes, along with siding, exterior trim, and carpentry, and ventilation in the roof space. It is one envelope and it works as one.

Can you repair storm damage?

Yes. Where the damage is going through insurance, the documentation side of that is covered on our insurance claim repairs page.
