Terms & Conditions
The terms for using this website. Last updated 13 October 2026.
These terms are not your contract
This page covers your use of this website and nothing else. If you hire us, the agreement between us is the written contract and estimate you sign for that job. Those documents govern the work, the price, the schedule, and any warranty. Nothing on this website changes them, adds to them, or takes anything away from them, and where this page and your signed contract appear to disagree, your contract is the one that counts.
Using this site
You are welcome to read this site, and to use its forms to contact us about actual work. Please do not use it to send anything unlawful, to try to break or overload it, to scrape it automatically, or to submit forms in someone else's name.
Estimates and enquiries
Sending an enquiry through this site does not create a contract and does not oblige either of us to anything. It starts a conversation.
We aim to provide a written estimate within 24 hours of visiting the site. An estimate is valid for the scope described in it and is subject to what we find once work begins — concealed damage behind a wall is the usual example. Where that happens we tell you, in writing, before the extra work is done.
Nothing on this site is a price. We do not publish prices, and no page here is an offer capable of being accepted.
Offers
Where this site advertises an offer, it applies to new customers, to work contracted with us, and only where we have confirmed it to you in writing as part of your estimate. Offers cannot be combined with each other, cannot be applied to work already contracted or completed, and can be withdrawn or changed at any time. Ask us for the terms of a current offer when you request your estimate and we will confirm them to you before you commit to anything.
What is on these pages
We work to keep this site accurate, but descriptions of our services are general. What we will do on your property is what your estimate says we will do. Photographs of completed work show that project, not a promise about yours.
The film on our home page and many of the pictures across this site, including those at the top of our pages, are AI-generated illustrations of the kind of work each page describes. They are not photographs of our projects or of anyone's home, and nothing in them is a promise about yours. Photographs of our completed work are on our projects page, where every picture is one of our own jobs.
Reviews shown on this site come from Google and are the words of the people who wrote them. Where we show a selection of reviews, we show our overall Google rating and total review count alongside it, so the selection cannot leave a misleading impression.
Licensing, and what we do not do
Interior Design Flooring holds Virginia Class A contractor license Virginia Class A General Contractor #2705162130.
We do not negotiate or settle insurance claims. Acting for a policyholder in negotiating or settling a claim is public adjusting, which is licensed separately in Virginia and is not something we are licensed for. We document damage, write our own estimate for your file, answer your insurer's questions about our own scope, and carry out the repair work.
We are a contractor, not a real estate brokerage. Where this site mentions selling a home, we are describing renovation work that prepares a property for sale. If you need an agent we can introduce you to a licensed one; the listing is handled by them, and the work is handled by us.
Other people's websites
Where we link out — to a lender, to Google, to a social account — we are not responsible for what is on the other end of the link or for how that company handles your information.
Our content
The text, photographs, and design on this site belong to us or are used with permission. Please do not republish them as your own. You are of course welcome to link to us.
Liability
This website is provided as it is. We are not liable for loss arising from using it, or from being unable to use it, or from relying on general information here instead of the written estimate we would give you. Nothing in this paragraph limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing in it affects our obligations under a contract you have signed with us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
